What People Are Saying

“Euni was the backup doula for the one I initially hired, and I am so incredibly grateful. Euni spent the first 7-8 hours of my labor in the hospital with me. We had no prior communication between the two of us, yet she was instantly able to jump in and offer support in the ways I had discussed with the doula I hired, but most importantly in the way that I needed. She did a lot of counter pressure and taught my partner how to do it was well. So she was able to guide him and offer him support in being a phenomenal, involved parent during my labor as well. She was attentive in noticing minimal signals from me when contractions would start and I needed support. She worked really well with the hospital staff and my doctor in coordinating my care and support. When we made a plan on how to endure certain moments, she was able to retain specific pillow configurations so I did not have to expend energy explaining what I needed each time. On top of all the physical support, her presence was so reassuring and positive energy to be around. Truthfully most of our interaction during labor was as needed for physical support, but that was per my birth plan, and allowed me to focus on my body and listening to what it needed. I have no doubts that she is fully capable of facilitating different communication and support styles/needs other than the ones I experienced. She came to visit once within our first week home and I was delighted to confirm that she is an absolute pillar of serenity and comfort outside of labor as well! My labor was 17 hours long in the hospital and ended in an inevitable c-section, but if it weren't for Euni's support through the worst of it all, I would be traumatized by my experience. Instead, I reflect with nothing but feelings of warmth and blessings and have only good memories. Navigating challenges are moments of strength, not strife, in my birth story because of her. Thank you so much, Euni!”

“We had the absolute pleasure of working with Euni as our doula and words cannot express how grateful we are for her presence in our lives during our pregnancy and birth journey. From the beginning, we were struck by her warmth, compassion, and deep understanding of childbirth. Her ability to truly listen to our needs and concerns made my wife feel seen and heard throughout the entire process. Euni's expertise in childbirth and her gentle nature were a perfect combination during labor. She provided us with comfort measures, emotional support, and helped us stay leveled headed throughout the process. Her gentle and servanthearted presence made all the difference during one of the most intense experiences of our lives. After the birth of our baby, Euni continued to support us with postpartum care. She checked in on us regularly, provided loving support, and even brought over a delicious treat for our family. Her care and attention to detail truly exceeded our expectations and made our transition into parenthood so much smoother. We cannot recommend Euni enough to anyone looking for a doula. Her unwavering support, kindness, and expertise made our childbirth experience one that we will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you, Euni, from the bottom of our hearts!”

“Absolutely loved having Euni by my side. I was scared to do my labor naturally and I did for the most part with her by my side encouraging me. I truly didn't want to epidural but when talking to Euni I learned that it is a valuable tool when you truly need it. She was so good to me emotionally, she stayed near by massaging me when needed and giving me positive affirmations. She even helped me walk through the halls while waiting to dilate more. She never overstepped and always told me to speak up when I needed something or if I felt she was overstepping (she never did and I am so grateful for that). She never pushed aside my husband or mom and made sure they all felt included. She answered all my questions and had so much useful information. I recommend her to the end of time. Will definitely be using her for my next baby!”

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Avalyn, and I cannot recommend her enough! From our first meeting, I knew that Avalyn was the perfect fit for my wife and me. Throughout my wife's pregnancy, Avalyn was always available to answer any questions we had and provided us with helpful resources to prepare for childbirth. She also checked in with us regularly to see how we were feeling and offered emotional support. During labor, Avalyn was an absolute rockstar. She helped my wife navigate through pregnancy discomfort, provided comfort measures, and was a great sounding board when needed. Her calming presence and expertise made all the difference during what could have been a stressful and overwhelming experience. After the birth of our baby, Avalyn continued to support us with postpartum care. She checked in with us regularly, provided post-birth support, and even helped with light housekeeping tasks. Her dedication to our well-being was truly above and beyond. Overall, I cannot recommend Avalyn enough to anyone looking for a doula. Her knowledge, expertise, and unwavering support made my wife's childbirth experience a truly positive one. Thank you, Avalyn!”

“Avalyn Collier is a fantastic doula. The birth of my son was enhanced greatly by her presence. My husband and I are first time parents and despite the amount of personal reading I had done to prepare, I know we couldn’t have had as successful of a birth as I’d wanted on our own. She guided us through questions in preparation weeks ahead. She gave selflessly of  herself over and above her call of duty, in time and service. When a pain would come,  Avalyn guided my husband in ways to help me and also brought in additional measures herself when possible. She made sure the midwife knew I wanted to see my son's head in the mirror when it was time. Postpartum, Avalyn cared for me in ways no other in the room knew I needed. She checked in and asked the necessary questions.

I highly recommend Avalyn Collier as a birth doula to any expecting family. “

“There will always be a bond when someone walks alongside you in pregnancy, labor and postpartum. The Lord led us to the same church and used her gifts to serve us in this season and we’re so thankful! If you’re considering a low intervention natural delivery, I cannot say enough about the benefits of a doula and would encourage you to consider Resilient Mama Birth Support because she’s awesome! Her experience & attentiveness was affirming and gave me the support I needed during a rapid labor progression that was unlike my other children! Bonus: How cool that we got to be her first Arkansas delivery! We love you & we’re so grateful to have you as a part of our baby’s birth story!”

- Andrea H.

“Avalyn has a calm, steady energy that is so needed. She has supported me for two of my babies. Her prenatal care is wonderful, she helped me prep meals for postpartum, she walked me through exercises to help get baby in the best position, she listened to me and helped me relax when baby went past due. She is great with the big kids too! Mine love her!! Can't recommend her enough!”

- Michelle W.

“Avalyn was such a kind, supportive presence during the birth of my third baby. She’s professional and confident. Our prenatal meetings were thorough and not rushed. She never made me feel pressured or “watched” when I went four days past my due date or when my early labor stretched out over 24 hours. One of Avalyn’s great skills as a doula is showing up when you need her and giving you space when you need space. She is experienced with hands on comfort measures. She cares deeply about working well with the hospital staff and other care providers. She did a great job of matching the energy in the delivery room, following my lead and letting me be in charge of my birth. She laughed at my jokes and made me feel like a Rockstar. It was a delight to have her on my birth team.”

“I still can't believe I had a completely unmedicated birth with my second child! How I wish I knew Avalyn when I had my first child! Avalyn was so helpful and encouraging throughout my pregnancy and delivery. She is the reason why I was willing and able to trust my body to give birth to my child without using epidural. She visited me during my second and third trimesters and shared resources that are research-based and informative. She also showed me techniques to relax my body and cope with the pain. The breathing techniques came handy when my labor started. I was able to breathe through most of my dilation process, when I arrived at the hospital on that Friday night, I was already 6/7 centimeters dilated. Three hours later I had my daughter. Avalyn was by my side, she reminded me to continue to breathe, massaged my body, offered me water, and held my hands whenever I needed support... Comparing to my first birthing experience (I had both Pitocin and epidural), this time I was able to trust my body to pass each contraction, to rest, and to push. I recovered so much faster after the delivery. Not only Avalyn's encouraging words made a huge difference, so did her professional training for being a doula. She encouraged me to speak up for myself and my child, and helped me understand how my body works through professional resources. I would not have done it without her support! Other than my husband, she is the first person who got to meet my daughter, so she will always hold a special place in our family. If you are thinking about hiring a doula, don't hesitate to reach out to Avalyn, she is absolutely wonderful!”
